For one night in Boston, the world was perfect

I know this is hella late but I wanted to put in my 2 cents on the finals. Sorry all you non sports people. I'll try and relate this to like life somehow.

I wasn't really routing for anyone, however, it was nice to see the Celtics win. 3 superstars sacrificing their individual accolades to win it all. They all already established themselves in the league and all have made enough money. It all came down to wanting to win a championship which will cement their legacies in NBA history. At the end of the day winning was more important than scoring titles, the glory, etc. It was really refreshing to see that.

Its also really annoying to see athletes complain about contracts. Its like "oh I only make 10 million a year" a la Latrell Sprewell, who I distinctly remember saying "how am I suppose to feed my family" when offered 7 million dollars a year. 0_o Its like wow, what do you feed your kids buddy?! I mean, c'mon people! You're getting paid to play a game that you love. I would play for 100 dollars a game if I could. There's that saying, "if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life" Apparently, some athletes haven't.

You see the joy in kevin Garnett's face? I want to go to work everyday with that same face.

In relation to life? What can we learn from the Boston Celtics? I guess, in life you have to sacrifice things to get to what you want or get to where you want to be. I dunno, that was a pretty obvious statement. Too tired to think right now. Maybe a year from now the Warriors will be in this position.

I am off. Later days. Goodnight Billy.

I would preferably like to write and update everyday but I feel kinda silly posting with nothing interesting to say. If I were to post everyday you would just yawn.

Lets see...

What have I been doing lately? NOTHING

Oh well. Lets see, today I cleaned my car and came across some psychology notes I took this past semester. There was a certain exercise that I wanted to blog about. I even wrote "blog this" in huge black ink on that sheet. The exercise was to list things we want/don't want in a significant other.

Necessary:
Ambitious
geeky/weird/unique/quirky
Family oriented
Someone who makes me laugh
Someone who challenges me to be a better person
Thoughtful/intelligent (Make me use my noggin and you're golden!)
Genuine
supportive/encouraging
Wants children (I want to carry the Yee legacy) haha

Desirable:
Crest Smile
Plays basketball
Sports fan
Unique sense of style

Absolutely not:
Smoker
lazy

Ok, so I couldn't come up with much under the last category. Relationships are a hot topic between my friends and I. We talk about them all the time. I envy people who have that stable relationship. I constantly find myself wanting the same thing that my brown bear Amitoj has with Neha, Jinjer has with Jon, or what Joomee has with Jester. In my current situation, I'm just going with it. I have no clue where this is going so why worry? I'm just taking it a day at a time. If something comes out of it then great; if nothing transpires from this then so be it. I'm not expecting anything. I presume everything will unfold itself.
