when you're the best of friends; an ode to jinjer

The bell rings at 1:42 and I leave my biology class. I pull out my class schedule to see what class I go to next. I see that I end the day with the worst possible subject ever - math. Little did I know, this would become my most enjoyable class of the year. I walk in and I don't recognize anyone except for Danica Espiritu but she's somewhere in the front and I'm assuming all the dudes are trying to sit next to her anyways. I find a seat towards the back next to this girl with braces who's wearing a green backpack w/ a huge ass zipper probably wearing a Ruben Studdard shirt. Using my super ultra photographic memory skills, I remember her hanging out with Leanne and Janel who were both hella smart. So I ask her "are you smart?" thinking she would be able to help me w/ this nonsense known as geometry. I don't really remember what her answer was but after that we introduced ourselves. Her name was Jinjer Sison.

As the year went on I veered away from my basketball homies and migrated towards the benches by the theatre to kick it w/ her and her homie g's. We also started doing our homework together over the phone and after we finish we would just talk for a couple of hours about...life. Remember when I had a date w/ kat and I was hella scared to make out so I asked you for pointers? Remember the endless speculations of me and you liking each other? Or leslie? There have been a lot of memories these past 5 years and many many more for years to come.

We've sort of done our own thing since you left for east bay and we'll probably do more of our thing once I leave for Davis but we'll always have the memories. Its cool though cause even after not hanging out for extended periods of time we never miss a beat. It's what I truly appreciate about our relationship. Through everything, you've never judged me and accepted me for my lame-ness and what not and I greatly appreciate that. You've been there for me through everything and all the thank you's in the world wouldn't be enough. Who would have thought? Someone who I thought would just be one of those "class friends" turned out to be the best friend I've ever had till this day. I am a better person because of you and I am forever thankful. Jinshizzle dizzle rizzle shizzle home fry skillet homie g manG, you have and always will be my best friend. Love you manG =)

Don't forget the basketball in rocket shoes and lemonade on the porch when were elderly. Judging from your HORSE skills I got work to do!
