parking, sweep, bagging, go backs, and repeat

My first full shift at safeway is over. Excuse me, slaveway! I worked from 2:15-11:15. It was ridiculously busy and pushing carts in 98 degree weather is not fun at all. My dogs are barking as some would say. Don't be fooled, Safeway isn't as glamourous as it seems.

You know how when you first start a job you actually don't mind going to work and its semi-enjoyable? That phase has already passed for me. As much as I already dislike it, I'm gonna stick it out. At least till the end of this school year. I won't add to my reputation of being a job whore. Maybe I'll win employee of the month before my tenure is over ala zach

OH another reason why I shall stick w/ this job is because this past weekend I convinced my parents to let me study abroad in the summer. It'll be for a month. I'm hoping to go to london perhaps? Its a once in a lifetime experience. I feel like this is the only time I can ever do this. It'll be pretty difficult once I graduate and hopefully working a steady job. As long as it doesn't interfere w/ me graduating in 2 years then I am leaving the country for the first time =)
