Yesterday, I showered, got dressed, and head to the bus stop (my bike is out of commission, again) anticipating going to class. I stand at the bus stop for a good 30 minutes. I end up just walking to campus and was informed that protestors had blocked the route for my bus. I arrive to students standing outside classrooms/library and unable to go re-enter. Why? Because some protestor pulled the stupid fire alarm. So who are the ones stopping my education? Not the California Board of Regents but YOU. I'm trying to prepare for finals and the teachers are trying to help me in doing so. It is unfair of you to take that away from me. I too am angered by the tuition increase and I am all for freedom of speech but I thought this was definitely not the way to go about this. Pulling fire alarms, turning over employee vehicles, and blocking traffic will not magically bring you or the state more money. And trying to merge on the freeway? Thats constructive. In actuality you are hindering us by taking away our class time.

Props to Ericka So for the top notch reporting. Sorry, I was unable to take good notes for you while you were doing this.
