away we go and fireworks

Today is one of those days were you just wake up and you have that feeling that nothing will deter you. Its been a great weekend thus far.

Friday - Went to San Jose with Jinjer to watch Away We Go. We were both expecting more but I think I enjoyed it more than she did. It was about this couple who's expecting a child and are in search of a home to raise the child. They went out to seek help from friends and along they way they realize that all their friends are just as lost as they are and unable to help them. It was a nice little metaphor of parents trying to get it right but getting all the wrong advice as their journey progressed. I dunno, that was my interpretation of it. I think the reason for me liking independent movies is cause I can feel relate to the characters really well. I can't really relate to what Optimus prime goes through. (I thought that movie was just OKAY. Sorry Billy and Stan) Anyways, after the movie we chilled at Phresh's place and watched mall cop and chilled till like 1?

Saturday: My cousins came over to celebrate 4th of July. We had a nice little BBQ going on accompanied with some Poker and good company. Later that night Phresh was having a house party. We get there kinda late and Jinjer is super wasted already. I dunno if I've seen her that messed up but it was pretty entertaining. I played some beer pong with Billy and met some new friends while reacquainting with old ones. Billy got super wasted too. Me driving him when he's super wasted has become a reoccuring theme lol. It was almost exactly like last time. Just like last time I drove him at Santa Cruz, we got sorta lost, we had to stop at 7-11 to get him some water, and me leaving 7-11 only to see him yacking outside my car. The exact same thing happened again last night. It was very deja-vu-esqe. I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July.

Today I woke up, had nice run, and now I'm just relaxing and about to watch the Giants. I am very excited for some upcoming events such as Vegas in 2 weeks and moving in to Davis in September. Currently i am just enjoying possibly my last summer here in Newark and I'm anxious and ready to embark on a new chapter in my life.
