2009 was a great year. I turned 21, got accepted into UC Davis, and Vegas brought upon plenty of stories. Other than a few minor mishaps, I can't complain.
I'm not a big new years resolution person. I feel like you can make a change for better or for worse at any point in your life. But, it is a nice starting point and I see the merit in it. Here are some of mine:
- Be more patient and take things in stride
- Be more productive. I watch more tv in a day then a lot of people do in a week. And its not even like its good tv either.
- Make peace with my past so I don't spoil the present
- Don't half ass things. If I have no choice but to do something or be somewhere, I might as well do it to the best of my ability
- Try and eat breakfast as often as I can
- Live a little more spontaneously; Steve jobs said it best: "If I look in the mirror and ask myself: "if today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today? If the answer has been "no" for too many days in a row, than I need to change something"
- Be better in 2010 than I was in 2009
I still can't believe its 2010. 10 years ago I was in sixth grade hanging out with my then best friend Ben recapping all the matches from smackdown and playing kick ball. Where has the time gone? Its been a great decade. Lets hope the next ten years will be just as good as the last.
